“I believe in fueling my body the right way, but I also think it’s important to enjoy life and not be overly restrictive. It’s those little moments of indulgence, without guilt, that make life feel more balanced and connected. At the end of the day, wellness includes happiness too.”

“One thing I do that people might not expect is intentionally carving out quiet time—no phone, no noise, just space to breathe and reset. Whether that’s a walk, some time with my kids, or just sitting in silence, those moments help me stay grounded. In a world that’s always moving, especially in the NBA, protecting your peace isn’t just helpful—it’s necessary.”

PG-13’s 2024-25 regular season ended four weeks early in March due to multiple injuries, including his left knee and left adductor muscle. When asked about being sidelined, the nine-time NBA All-Star responded: “Being sidelined is never easy, but it gives you a different perspective and a chance to refocus,” he said. “During this rehab process, my main goal is to come back stronger, physically and mentally. I’m using this time to lock in on recovery, stay connected with my team, and be present with my family. Off the court, it’s also a chance to invest in meaningful projects, like my partnership with Kinder Chocolate, which aligns with who I am as a father and role model.”

The NBA star has returned to the mic after a short hiatus earlier this year. We asked George about the pause and whether it was a mental health decision, a dad decision, or both.

“After stepping away from Podcast P for a bit, coming back to it felt like the right move—and the right time. The break gave me space to reset and focus on family, my health, and everything happening on and off the court. Now, with a fresh perspective, I’m excited to bring that real, unfiltered energy back to the platform. The podcast has always been about showing fans a more personal side of me, and I think this new chapter will be even more honest and engaging. It’s another way for me to connect—not just as an athlete, but as a person navigating life just like everyone else.”

We asked the NBA star what his parenting style would be if he had a position in the league. He didn’t hesitate: “I’d say I’m the point guard,” George said. “I’m setting the tone, keeping things organized, making sure everyone’s in the right place—but also knowing when to step back and let my kids take the shot. Just like on the court, it’s about balance—guiding, supporting, and creating space for them to grow and make their own plays in life.”

“If Kinder Chocolate made a special edition Paul George chocolate, I’d probably call it ‘The PG Blend.” It would be smooth on the outside with a mix of textures inside—maybe something like milk chocolate with a crisp layer and a hint of peanut butter or caramel. Something balanced, a little unexpected, but always reliable. It’d reflect how I approach the game—and life: steady, composed, but with a little flair. And of course, it’d be something my kids would love too, because if they’re not fans, it’s not making the roster.”
